Log homes are built to the same codes as any other dwelling, with a few extra eyes on connections and settling. Counties with log-specific inspection checklists, common in timber country, expect the crew to hold the gasket lines, bolt tensions and settling gaps to the drawings.

Construction Phases and Move-In

The build itself is a sequence of stages, each with a defined completion point. Keeping them in order protects the schedule and the budget, because every stage builds on the one before it.
