2. ACP A2

  • Low potential for fire spread

3. Aluminium Honeycomb

  • No polymer core
  • Honeycomb-designed aluminum core
  • Low potential for fire spread

To address this concern, regulations now limit the amount of polymer used in panel construction. The older polymer, primarily polyethylene, was highly flammable. Among the three types of ACPs discussed, only ACP FR contains 30% polymer material, which accounts for its fire-spread potential. The other two types have significantly lower fire-spread potential, rendering them safer choices for construction.
