How to Grow and Care for Wheat in a Home Garden

Wheat is technically a grass but is also referred to as a cereal grain. Spring Wheat vs. Winter Wheat

The single biggest decision is whether to plant spring wheat or winter wheat. The names describe the sowing season, and the choice depends on your climate and your patience.

Spring Wheat

Winter Wheat
